VDOPS REMOVING AND PURGING INLET HOSE READY FOR A FILTER CHANGE OR PACK-UP

Turn off the machine by pressing red ‘STOP’ button.In this case the machine has experienced low flow AS RED LIGHT ON) and turn heaters off.

Close the supply (inlet) valve on the tank. If you are drawing oil from a spear into the top of a tank or IBC then miss this step.

Clip the cable ties from the outlet hose making sure that you have one hand ready to cover the camlock so that it cannot open.

With all valves open op VDOPS unit, turn the unit on

Release one camlock and wriggle to allow the vacuum to suck of from hose and ‘dead end’ of valve. If using a spear into top of tank then slowly lift the spear out of tank avoiding sucking up any debris or oil spill pads.

Continue to operate VDOPS until it ‘trips’ due to low flow. Then press reset and start to drain last amounts of oil from pipework.

Carefully catch any drips in the vacuum hose end as you lower the camlock fitting 90° down sucking up the last drips of oil.

Hang the hose on a hook at a level where oil cannot seep out.

Stop the VDOPS if it hasn’t already tripped due to low flow.

Close both Inlet valve and Outlet Valves on VDOPS.
