Connect with VC students during Hospitality Week!
We are seeking hotels and tourism centers for studentsto visit and job shadow for a day during the week of April 22 - 26, 2019.
You are invited to become a partner in supporting our future hospitality workforce! We are looking for partners to open their doors and provide our local students in hospitality, tourism, or recreation pathways, a work-based learning opportunity.
Work-based learning provides students a chance to test-drive their hospitality career through experiential and hands-on learning opportunities designed to enhance the classroom experience.
Anticipated Agenda for students:
9:00AM Introduction of students to hotel/center operations (approximately 30 students)
10:00AM Job Shadow Experiences(Students visit different departments in the hotel
and work side-by-side with a staff member)
12:00PM Questions & Answers
1:00PM Job Shadow Day concludes
