WHAT IS STROKES?

Strokes is a day-long competition wherein students from the various Chinese-Filipino schools will engage themselves in a friend-ly competition to showcase their skills and talents in Chinese calligraphy and art. The art competition will be an event open to elementary and high school students, where-in they are expected to produce works of art that exemplify the unique bond between both Filipinos and Chinoys. The calligraphy con-test is open to high school students, wherein they are to highlight the beauty of the Chi-nese-Filipino tradition of calligraphy. It will be organized with the goal of uplifting the Chinese-Filipino culture through a display of skills, and secondly as an introduction to the Loyola Schools campus and Ateneo student life.
