PRODUKTÜBERSICHT UND LEGENDE

Zur Herstellung eines hochbelastbaren Verbindungspunktes in Kunststoff- und Verbundstoffteilen hat man die Möglich-keit, unterschiedliche Verbindungselemente zu verwenden. Bei Kunststoffteilen werden Gewindebuchsen oder -bolzen verwendet, wenn einerseits die Krafteinleitung sehr groß ist oder andererseits ein mehrmaliges Trennen der verbundenen Teile getätigt wird. Die Einbringung des Gewindeeinsatzes erfolgt mittels Eindrehen, Einpressen oder Einlegen während des Formprozesses. Durch die Ausführung mit Rändeln oder Nuten an der Außenform können geforderte Auszugskräfte und gute Verdrehsicherheiten gewährleistet werden.

Eine weitere Möglichkeit, hochbelastbare Verbindungspunkte herzustellen, ist das Einlaminieren oder Aufkleben von Verbindungselementen. Dies wird vorwiegend im GFK- / CFK-Bereich und bei Verbundstoffen benötigt. Durch den großen Flansch kann die Kraft besser eingeleitet werden. Durch eine abgestimmte Verklebung wird auf Anforderungen wie Vibrationen usw. eingegangen.

Zur Verstärkung von Löchern in Kunststoffteilen werden Abstandshalter angebracht. Je nach Anforderung können Buchsen rund, oval, mit oder ohne Längsrändel, mit unterschiedlichen Höhen und Kopfgrößen angeboten werden.

Auch herkömmliche Verbindungselemente – z.B. Blindnieten - können durch Produktausführungen wie größere Klemmbe-reiche oder durch geeignete Ausformung des Schließkopfes eine ideale Befestigung für Kunststoffe darstellen. Der Kunst- oder Verbundstoff wird nicht beschädigt.

FUNKTION

PRODUCT OVERVIEW AND LEGEND

For producing a high resilient fastening point in light weight materials and polymers there is the possibility to use different fastening elements. For polymer parts threaded standoffs or bolts are used when mechanical loads will be induced or the connected parts will be separated several times. The threaded parts are put into the material either with turning in, pres-sing in or moulding in during the moulding process. Using knurls or grooves on the outside of the threaded parts ensure the requested pull out forces and torque values.

Another possibility is the laminating or gluing of fastening elements – predominately in glas fibre / carbon fibre reinforced parts. According to the big flanges the forces can be better induced to the material. Using special adhesives requirements like vibrations etc. will be considered.

For strengthening holes in polymer parts spacers are used. According to the requirements the spacers can be round, oval, with or without longitudinal knurls, with different heights and flange sizes.

Also known fastening elements as blind rivet nuts can be a perfect solution for polymers when they are equipped with big-ger clamping ranges or special forms of retaining (locking) rings. Light weight materials and polymers won’t be damaged.

Selbstschneidende Gewindeeinsätze können in vielfältigen Materialien eingesetzt werden - in Kunststoffen wie auch Metallen. Dazu wird eine Bohrung in das Material eingebracht und der Gewindeeinsatz mit Schrauber oder speziellem Werkzeug eingedreht. Einpressteile können kalt und warm eingepresst werden oder auch mit Ultraschall eingebettet werden. Welches Verfahren verwendet wird, hängt von der Art der Anwendung und Wahl des Kunststoffes ab. Bei der Warmeinbettung soll der Gewin-deeinsatz den Kunststoff erwärmen, aber nicht schmelzen. Dies verhindert die Gratbildung an der Grenzfläche zwischen Einsatz und Material. Information zu Thermopressen können Sie gesondert anfordern. Bei der Ultraschalleinbettung werden niedrige Frequenzen empfohlen, um den Kunststoff zu erwärmen. Pressing in inserts can be inserted cold or warm or with ultrasonic. Which system is used depends on the application and choice of the polymer. For pressing in warm the threaded insert should only heat the material and not melt it. This avoids burr formation on the surface between insert and material. Information to heat inserters can be requested separately. For ultrasonic insertion low frequencies are recommended to heat up the material.

Meist hexagonale Gewindebuchse nach DIN16903. Durch ihre spezielle Form wird eine große Kunststofffläche abgedeckt und so gegen Rotation gewirkt.Mostly hexagonal threaded insert according to DIN 16903. Die Einlegeteile werden während des Formgebungsprozesses in das Werkzeug eingelegt und umspritzt. Die geschlossenen Einsätze verhindern das Eindringen des Kunststoffes in das Gewinde. Bei der Konstruktion des Pins muss darauf geachtet werden, dass die Toleranzen so gewählt sind, dass ebenfalls kein Kunststoff in das Gewinde fließen kann. Das Einlegen ermöglicht gute Fertigungszeiten im Spitzgussprozess, da die Teile automatisch zugeführt werden können.Moulding inserts will be positioned in the tooling during the moulding process and then covered with material.
