The Final Rule for Stage 2 Meaningful Use is now scheduled to be released in early September

We have an EHRIP team now! Lorraine Siciliano and Tim Tremblay Joined the team in May and are co-

administering the program, including reviewing applications and working with providers to resolve issues

New Provider Manual to guide you through the process will be posted on the Internet Describing MU screens has added 150 pages

to the manual Once you attest for a first year A/I/U in your

first program year, you do not have to register again at the CMS site A current year record should be waiting for

you in MAPIR when you access the system

Attestation Meaningful Use MeasuresThe screen on the following page displays the Measures Topic List. The Attestation Meaningful Use Measures are divided into six distinct topics:

• General Requirements• Core Measures• Menu Measures• Core Clinical Quality Measures• Alternate Core Clinical Quality Measures• Additional Clinical Quality Measures.

You may select any of the six topics and complete them in any order. You are not required to complete any of the Alternate Core Clinical Quality Measures unless you have entered a zero denominator for one or more Core Clinical Quality Measures. While it is not required that you begin each topic in the order shown on the screen, this user guide will follow the order in which the topics are listed.Click Begin to start a topic.

Browse to the file you want to upload. Upload one file at a time. Upload as many as you wish, but file sizes must be < 2MB and files must be PDFs.

Look for the confirmation. Choose more files if you wish. When finished, Save and Continue.

After you Submit the application you should see this screen. You can visit MAPIR at any time and view your application, but no changes can be made once it is submitted, unless we administratively change the status to Incomplete.
