1. About DACHSER WebDAV facilitates collaboration between users (DACHSER employees and customers) in editing and managing documents. The Files are stored on a secured DACHSER- server which can be accessed from within the DACHSER network (locally or Citrix) as well as over the Internet.
2. Important Informations - Maximum Size per File is 10 MB per default - Folder Creation only for Admins - If a file is opend by a user, you can access the file only in read-mode
3. Access methods There are several ways to connect to WebDAV- Folders:

3.1. Microsoft Office To establish a connection to your WebDAV-folder follow the following steps: • Open any Microsoft Office application (e.g. Excel) • Navigate to File → Open • Enter the Path to your WebDAV- folder (e.g. https://webdav.dachser.com/your-
webdav-folder) and click Open
• Enter your WebDAV user credentials

• Please mark the file you want to open and press Enter
• In this Dialog you can upload files to your WebDAV-Folder via Drag&Drop from
the Windows Explorer or via Copy&Paste from the Windows Explorer

3.2. Map Network Drive
3.2.1. Microsoft Windows XP To establish a connection to your WebDAV-folder follow the following steps: • Rightclick on the startbutton • Click Open Windows Explorer • Click on Tools in the Menu Bar and Map Network Drive

• Click on “Sign up for online storage or connect to a network server”
• Please click Next

• Click on “Choose another network location” an click Next
• Enter the Path to your WebDAV- folder (e.g. https://webdav.dachser.com/your-
webdav-folder) and click Next
• Enter your User Name and Password (You can mark remember password) and
click next • Please give a name for the WebDAV Connection and click Finish • After completing the setup of your network drive you will find a new drive in your
Windows Explorer.

3.2.2. Microsoft Windows 7 To establish a connection to your WebDAV-folder follow the following steps: • Rightclick on the startbutton • Click Open Windows Explorer
• Mark Computer in the left column • Select Map network drive from the top toolbar • Configure the network drive:
o In the Drive box, choose a drive letter o In the Folder box, type the path for the server and shared resource o Check “reconnect at Logon” (optional) o Check “Connect using different credentials”

3.2.3. Microsoft Windows 8.1 (Screenshots noch ände rn) To establish a connection to your WebDAV-folder follow the following steps: • Rightclick on the startbutton • Click Open Windows Explorer

3.2.4. Microsoft Internet Explorer To establish a connection to your WebDAV-folder follow the following steps: • Open your Internet Browser • Go to https://webdav.dachser.com/your_folder
• Enter your WebDAV user credentials

• You can open the files in your WebDAV Folder (Read Only!)

3.2. DOS Command This option is running with all Windows-Versions. • Click on Start • Type in cmd.exe and execute
• Type in the following command
NET USE * https://webdav.dachser.com/your_folder your_password /USER:your_username and press Enter
