It also means that any existing image only PDF files can be converted to Searchable PDF’s.

Meta Data for a BOOK would be the Meta Data for a DOCUMENT could be

File Name, Department, Document Type, Format and Date.

Meta-Scan is similar to a normal scan job, however additional information (Meta Data) is transferred with the scanned image file (TIFF or PDF).
