Feature The Norm The Difference Benefit to our client

Free replacement service Most agencies have some sort of rebate whereby if a candidate leaves for any reason other than redundancy there is a rebate over agiven period of time. That period will typically be between 8–12 weeks with a reducing refundeither by steps or a straight line over the period.

However, as a consultancy we don’t feel that’s good enough so we have a free replacement service.We cover 100 days (that’s 14.3 weeks) with a free replacement. This is longer than a standard probationary period.

So you know that if you employ one of our candidates the financial risk of that selection is dramatically reduced. So you have peace of mind as we take on the financial risk.

Direct and In-Direct Referencing

Typically agencies do not reference check theircandidates, indeed they specifically exclude anyresponsibility for it.

We don’t think that’s good enough so instead we carry outthorough reference checking on all candidates prior to interview with the client. We use the most powerfulreferencing system available whether to agencies or employers.

This means that you will not be wasting time interviewing candidates who, when reference checked prove to be unsuitable.

Local & London based interview facilities

Most agencies only interview their candidates by telephone and without structure

We don’t think this is the best service for our clients. Therefore, we have an interview structure for all candidates, we interview face-to-face and also have facilities in London for interview days.

You know that you have a professional recruitment agency working for you and that your recruitment partner is working in a structured way that benefits you, coupled with the fact that we have actually met the candidate.

Volume Discounts and Annual Rebates

Most agencies take your money and run

We believe that we should give something back to our clients when certain levels of business are reached.

You are being discounted based upon volume business with Vertex and therefore saving you money

CV Commentary When sending CVs to clients, most agencies provide little or nothing in the way of supporting information.

However, we feel that’s inconsistent with our consultancy approach so when we shortlist candidates we provide what we call a ‘CV commentary’ which is the informationfundamental to the selection decision but not contained within the CV.

This saves you time because you arebetter informed at interview stage,enabling you to concentrate on moreimportant issues.

Interview Briefing When candidates attend interviews, most agencies do little or nothing in the way of passing on the information clients have already provided to them.

We have addressed this problem and as an absolutely fundamental part of our process we ensure that all ourcandidates attending interview are thoroughly briefed.

So when you interview our candidates you know you don’t have to repeat information already relayed to us so saving you time and frustration.
