Last month we were thrilled to announce that our solar installation at Liberty Village was a semi finalist for PV America's Solar Project of Distinction award. Well, the red carpet has been rolled out, the votes are in and the wait is over. We won! The Liberty Village residential complex, developed by Concern for Independent Living, is located on the grounds of the former North Amityville Armed Forces Reserve Center and currently houses more than 60 veterans and their families. The goal of the solar installation project was to provide renewable energy that would help keep housing affordable for these military heroes and their loved ones for years to come. Read on for more details about Liberty Village on our website here.
