The 4th quarter will be upon us soon, and I want to take a moment to review safety and security procedures with you, in advance of our end-of-the-year celebrations: Please make sure that your emergency cards are up-to-date and on file in the of- fice. Any adult who picks up your child from school must be listed on the emergency card. Parents, you may update pick-up information in either office, in person, any time you wish. Please be ready to show your government issued photo identification when visiting your elementary child during lunch. Also, we will only release students from school to parents with identification, or to individuals listed on the emergency card with proper identification. Thank you for your continued cooperation as we work to keep our students safe! A friendly reminder that students who are dropped off before 7:25 am are not supervised. Supervision for students begins at 7:25. For your child’s safety, please drop off your children at 7:25 or later. Thank you. Ignite club will meet on Thursday, March 15 in room 4-101 after school. Parents are welcome to attend. Donations of individually wrapped snacks and cases of water will be greatly appreciated Ticket Price $10 per person For more ticket information please visit either the elementary or the middle school front office Attention Parents/Guardians Effective January 11, 2011, the School District has implemented a policy regard- ing early sign-outs. Per Policy 4.16 (3) (e) (1). NO STUDENT shall be released within the FINAL THIR- TY (30) MINUTES of the school day unless the principal/designee determines it is an emergency. No student will be allowed for early re- lease after 1:40 pm without administrative approval. Thank you!

Veterans Park Academy for the Arts received a grade of “C” for the 17-18 school year. Florida State Statute 1012.42, recognizes that teachers at times must be assigned duties in a class outside the field in which the teacher is certified. The following teachers at Veterans Park Academy for the Arts are certified, but may be assigned one or more classes outside their areas of certifications and are required to take appropriate steps

to comply with the statutory regulation.

The following teachers are out of field but engaged in training to add the endorsement, English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), to their certificates:
