Iridium CERTUS Iridium Certus is an advanced multi-service platform enabled by the newly upgraded Iridium satellite constellation. Offering the highest L-band throughput up to 1.4Mbps. The LT-3100 GMDSS is especially designed for Deep-sea, Fishing, (Offshore) workboats and Yachting and meets all standards and certification requirements needed for worldwide maritime satellite communication equipment. Iridium will begin GMDSS services and operation in early 2020, recognized by the IMO and the SOLAS convention, IRIDIUM GMDSS will be more than an alternative to Inmarsat-C offering truly global coverage and built-in Safety Voice. Dynamic Positioning System The most versatile DP system on the market brought to you by AMTS. Easy to integrate on a bridge console as standalone or as full integration into IBS system thanks to flexible design concept. Interfacing with any thruster/ propulsion configuration like CPP, Voith Schneider (VSP), azimuth thruster or fixed tunnel thruster. Integration with onboard Power Management System for power load monitoring and to prevent black-outs during DP operations. Where most of the DP manufacturers only provide standard features with limited expansion into other systems, our DP system is going a few steps further and offers a more than complete system based on advanced control algorithms which will reduce propeller request and noise & vibration reduction. Firstly designed for military navy purposes but now available for commercial market, rigorous tested for EMC makes this the most reliable DP system on the market. Reduced cabling via redundant ethernet and uniform hardware will take less space and weight and thus reducing installation time next to time saving in troubleshooting in case of any system failure. Our DP systems are designed to reduce numbers of equipment onboard which will save on depot-spares due to shared hardware technology, uniformity is the key in this design. Top level hardware and marinized computers with embedded SSD drives will take care of years of error-free operation in the most harsh environments. A operator panel with 3 axis joystick for easy control of the vessel, besides a touchscreen operation makes it for a DP operator an easy task to operate the DP system.
