Victim-Centered Death Investigation Methodology Victim-Centered Death Investigation Methodology is a scientific, research-based death investigation methodology grounded by the court-room-necessary principles of validity and reliability. The method is centered on an “operating system” called Bloom’s Taxonomy, which every step of the process flows in and out. Attendees of this lecture/practicum style 40-hour course are introduced to the major premises of victimology, crime scene analysis, wound pattern analysis, suspectology, statement analysis, the scientific method, crime scene reconstruction, and Dr. Pettler’s Kaleidoscope System.
