    GREATER SHEPPARTON CITY COUNCILMaking of Local Law No. 2 –

    Conduct at Meetings and Common SealNotice is given pursuant to section 119 of the

    Local Government Act 1989 that the Greater Shepparton City Council, at its council meeting on 15 September 2020, resolved to make a new Local Law to be known as the Local Law No. 2 – Conduct at Meetings and Common Seal.

    On the commencement of this Local Law on 9 October 2020 the following Local Law: Local Law No. 2 Procedures for Council Meetings and Common Seal is no longer valid for use.

    The purpose and general purport of the proposed Local Law is to regulate the use of Council’s common seal and to govern the conduct of meetings of the Council and Delegated Committees.

    Education and Training Reform Act 2006Pursuant to section 2.6.29(1)(b) of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (‘the Act’),

    all registrations held by a person under Part 2.6 of the Act are cancelled if the person has been given a negative notice within the meaning of the Working with Children Act 2005.

    Pursuant to section 2.6.29(3) of the Act, a person whose registration is cancelled by the operation of section 2.6.29(1)(b) is disqualified from teaching in a school or early childhood service and is not entitled to apply to be registered under Part 2.6 of the Act for the period of 5 years after the date on which the negative notice is given. The disqualification from making an application to be registered under Part 2.6 of the Act does not apply if the negative notice is subsequently set aside or an assessment notice under the Working with Children Act 2005 is subsequently given.

    On 23 September 2020, Ms Sally Jane Kardash, a 54-year-old female, was given a negative notice within the meaning of the Working with Children Act 2005.

    On 2 October 2020, Ms Kardash ceased to be registered as a teacher in Victoria and was disqualified from teaching in a school or early childhood service.

    ALTERATION 1. The alteration is to add 4 km of pipeline and a pressure regulator.

    Licence 80 at Hyland Street, Fyansford, and ends at the terminal regulating station at Boral Circle Southern Cement, Reservoir Road, Waurn Ponds. The route also branches at the northern end of Anglesea Road, where it is adjacent to the Geelong Warrnambool railway, and then turns south and stays to the west of Ghazeepore Road to end in a regulator pit at the corner of Ghazeepore Road and Mount Duneed Road, Mount Duneed.
