naTional cerTificaTe of official sTaTisTics This 40 credit qualification covers the skills and knowledge required for interpreting and using statistics to form conclu-sions and make management, organisational or government policy recommendations in a public sector context.

The certificate is on the New Zealand Qualification Authority (NZQA) National Qualifications Framework (NQF). It includes the four unit standards workshops listed below, assessment and a research project. Each course can also be taken as a stand alone, non-assessed course.
