How to join a scheduled video visit on your computer
Video Visits
1 Your physician’s practice will send you a secure message via MyChart to join the virtual visit. Prior to (at least 15 minutes) your visit, click the link in the message.
Note: ensure that your computer has both video and microphone capabilities before starting.
After clicking the link, the free Webexsoftware will automatically download to your computer.
Once downloaded, click the downloaded file to launch Webex.
If the software doesn’t download, you can also click “Join from your browser”

3 Once downloaded, the Webex window will appear on your computer.
Once open, enter your information (name and email) and then click “Next”.
Webex will then ask for your preferred audio option.
The first preferred option is to select “Call Me” and enter your preferred number.
However, if this doesn’t work and your computer has a microphone, you can select “Use Computer for Audio”.

5 After selecting your audio preference, click “Join Meeting”.
Webex will then automatically start audio and video through your computer’s webcam with your physician.
After you have joined the meeting, your physician will grant you access and start the visit.
If for some reason the video or audio disconnects during the visit, try leaving the meeting and re-joining, following the same original link provided to you in MyChart.
Once your visit is done, please click on the “X” button to leave the visit.

1 Your physician’s practice will send you a secure MyChartmessage to join the virtual visit. Prior to (at least 15 minutes) your visit, click the link in the message.
After clicking the link, please select “Download” to download the free Webex app. Important: do not click the “Call” button.
Clicking “Download” will bring you to your phone’s app store, where you can download the app.

4 Once the Webex app is downloaded, open the app. You will then be prompted to enter your information. Once entered, click “Join”.
After clicking “Join”, click “OK” to allow Webex to access your microphone and camera.
You will then see a screen asking about your Audio Connection. Click “Change Audio”.

7 After clicking “Change Audio”, you will be prompted to select your audio connection. Click “Use Internet for Audio”.
You are now ready to join! Click on the “Join” button, which then allow Webex to automatically call you.
Finally, tap the microphone icon to unmute and the camera icon to start the video between you and your physician. When the visit is over, click on the “X” to leave.

Smart Phone Audio & Camera: if you accidentally prevent Webexfrom accessing your microphone and camera when asked, you can go into your phone’s settings to re-enable access (see screenshots below):
