Energy saving potentialDue to the ability of the radiant heating and cooling system to create a comfortable climate at 20 °C as opposed to radiators, which require a temperature of 22 °C, a saving of 10 -12 % can be made on the annual heating costs, as long as the sys-tem is operating in the low temperature mode. In combination with a heat pump, your customers are also more indepen-dent of energy price increases and without extra charge can use the groundwater to gain from the cooling function with a water/water heat pump.

Hygiene standardsSurface heating systems with their low operating temperatu-res are nearly pure radiant heating systems and are always relatively close to the room air temperature. This automati-cally leads to better hygienic conditions. The mild tempered surface does not therefore cause any noticeable convection due to the minimal temperature differences, as in contrast to conventional radiators the air circulation is much lower. Dust turbulences are avoided. Heat radiation is a characteristic of surface heating systems, which does not heat the air, but in fact solid objects. And thanks to the heated surface, neither wet corners nor mould can occur.

Surface coolingIn addition to this, surface heating systems can be used for cooling in summer when they are supplied with cold water. This is noticeably cheaper than an air-conditioner – as well as noiseless and healthier, as no draughts are created.

Freedom of scopeThe surface heating systems are not visible in a room. This allows more freedom when arranging a room, as there are no more radiators taking up space and a more individual room design becomes possible.
