CHANGING THE WAY LIGHTING DESIGNERS USE LASERS

“The big thing that sold me on the Light Vector lasers was that I have full control on the grandMA2 via Art-Net. The 25-watt lasers have their own fixture profile to access colormixing, pan/tilt, scan rate, zones, custom laser shapes, rotation, etc., so I can programthem in with lighting and video content to the console.

“They set me up in their demo room for a couple days with the lasers and I programmed a couple songs with their laser/ma2 guru. We videotaped the process so I could show management and the artist what the capabilities were. After that, we just had to fit them in the budget.”

Harness the power of the console...............................................................Beam Composer, an internal control system, is integrated with all Light Vector scanning projectors. Compatible with any console utilizing the Art-Net protocol, Beam Composer is the most advanced system to design and control laser looks and safety parameters through the lighting console on the market today. Lighting designers can now create custom laser looks in real-time, controlling all aspects of laser fixture attributes from the console. Beam Composer is not a DMX triggering device for pre-designed laser looks, but a tool that harnesses the power of the lighting console.

A laser system ready to tour.....................................................The Light Vector Laser System consists of top-of-the-line diode technology laser projectors fully controllable from the lighting console. From high-powered full color 60-watt projectors to 1-watt projectors, integration and control of lasers in show design with the Light Vector system is easy and intuitive. Training and safety are also key components of Light Vector’s comprehensive approach. These lasers are ready to tour!

Light Vectors are manufactured in the United States and have been certified to meet all CDRH requirements. Connection to the console is via cat 5 or DMX cabling; additional features include daisy-chaining fixtures, wireless connection and an interface for tablets for mobile manipulation.

In addition to control and ease of use, the Light Vector System addresses all aspects of utilizing lasers in venues large and small, indoors and outdoors. Training and complying with all regulatory requirements is a key component of every Light Vector rental solution.

> Full control from the console via Art-Net> Connect with single cat 5 cable, additional lasers daisy-chain> Control color mixing, pan/tilt, scan rate, zones, custom laser shapes, rotation, color gradients and more from the console> Supports WYSIWYG Visualizer> 79 channel DMX profile> Server-based laser zone management; set it and work freely on the console

“We’re using lasers on a number of songs. Tony started a relationship with Image Engineering, and since they could supply lasers to the tour without a tech [lighting tech Kile McClure was trained] and we could run them from the grandMA, [lasers] became viable. Lasers are a unique production tool since they are an excellent combination of vintage and futuristic and provided a layer for us to use.”
