Registering for the LEED Green Associate Exam1. Log in to your Credentials account by using your existing USGBC® site user account or creating a new

account if you do not have one.

How to Create a Site User AccountStep 1. Using a Web Browser go to the address, http://www.usgbc.orgStep 2. Click on AccountStep 3. If you already have a USGBC account, Sign in.

If you don’t have an account, click on Create one

First name and Last name must be exactly what is shown on your ID. Do not abbreviate your first name or use a nickname.

Once your USGBC account has been created you are now ready to register for the LEED Green Associate exam.

From Home click on the link ORFrom Credentials, click on Overview

From the list select the exam you want to register for.2

If you are a full-time employee of a USGBC member organization or have a company that will approve you being affiliated with their USGBC membership, find the organization. It must be approved by the USGBC contact for the membership. Full-time students are also given a discount on the LEED Green Associate exam.

Follow the screen instructions to complete the registration fields for:Exam • Candidate • Payment • Receipt

Note: Exams are delivered by Prometric. You will be given a Web link to choose a location, date, and time to schedule the exam. You can also find this in your account under Credential, Overview.

Once you have taken and passed the exam it will be listed in your account under Credentials, Overview3
