Ministry of Women Affairs, Gender And Community Development Vacancy Announcement: One Stop Centre Administrator (2 Posts) VA-2016-1 Duty Station 1: Gwanda, Zimbabwe Duty Station 2: Rusape Zimbabwe One year contract with possibility of renewal Expected start date – 01 September 2016 The Ministry of Women Affairs, Gender and Community Development with support from UNFPA and in close collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Child Care has established One Stop Centers (OSC) at Gwanda Provincial Hospital and Rusape General Hospital. The OSCs provides all key services required by a Gender Based Violence (GBV) survivor under one roof. Under the guidance and supervision of the respective Provincial Development Officers of Manicaland and Matabeleland South Provinces, the Administrator will effectively coordinate services of the different service providers. The Administrator will be responsible for ensuring that partners are available to offer services and that survivors receive the required services at the OSC. He/she will be responsible for receiving survivors and administering the registration process. The incumbent would also be responsible for referring survivors to the relevant service provider according to the survivor’s needs. Data collection, filing, writing and submitting reports on time are some of the key responsibilities for this post. Other responsibilities aligned to this role include; the general smooth running of the OSC and ensuring that offices are always presentable. The Administrator will be responsible for maintaining the Ministry’s visibility as the responsible authority for the OSC. To qualify, candidates should possess the following: Degree in Social Sciences/ Counselling Knowledge of data collection Certificate in counselling ICT skills in word processing and Excel Ability to write clearly and concisely especially report writing Experience in GBV programming Initiative, sound judgment and demonstrated ability to work harmoniously with staff members, Implementing Partners, and other line Ministries especially Ministry of Health and Child Care were the OSC is located.
