She now works as an Independent Practitioner. The workshop is an opportunity to explore some of the challenges of using a Solution Focused Approach so that we can continue to challenge 'taken for granted' ideas which can creep into our practice without us noticing and also contextual factors which can undermine our best hopes in being useful when we work with clients.

Maintaining Hopeful Practice: Exploring disadvantages and advantages of a Solution Focused Approach

Jeannette is a Systemic and Family Therapist with experience of working with children and families in a CAMHS setting. She now works as an Independent Practitioner.

The workshop is an opportunity to explore some of the challenges of using a Solution Focused Approach so that we can continue to challenge 'taken for granted' ideas which can creep into our practice without us noticing and also contextual factors which can undermine our best hopes in being useful when we work with clients.
