Today we will change the ratio relationship, which will change the order of the ratio.

Today we will be comparing ratios when quantities change. We will also be comparing situational events such as girls who enjoyed soccer and basketball compared to boys who enjoyed soccer to basketball.

• I can create equivalent ratios by drawing tape diagrams using the value of the ratio.

•I can compare two different ratios by drawing 4 tapes diagrams using the value of the ratio.

•I can use a target sentence to answer the question being asked.

A ratio is a pair of numbers that shows a comparison of two different quantities. Order matters!
