Towards a new strategy for Europe WWWforEurope Survey Below you find some research questions and tentative answers for a new European strategy to be developed in the WWWforEurope project. We want to ask how much you agree or disagree. In the short run, politics should address the problem of low growth first 6. Economic growth is a prerequisite to reduce both unemployment and social exclusion 7. Economic policies to reduce social inequalities would boost economic growth in Europe 8. Economic policy should address social and environmental goals without considering what this means for economic growth Policy recommendations 9. Economic policies should give lower priority on increasing labour productivity and higher emphasis on social innovations due to low growth and high unemployment 10. Restarting growth in Europe requires deregulation of product and labour markets and increasing entrepreneurship liberalisation 11. The EU should be a front runner in energy efficiency and renewables 12. A reduction of (daily, weekly) individual working hours is needed to reduce
