Why you should join the International Play Association – England, Wales and Northern Ireland (IPA EWNI)

The benefits of joining IPA EWNIYou gain access to the International Play Association International Network and are able to make links with like minded people across the globe. IPA has contact with key policy makers in the UK and across the globe and can represent your views when necessary.

What we doIPA EWNI aims to uphold the right of all children and young people to the opportunity, time and space to play in their own way. IPA EWNI welcomes as members all individuals and groups who share these aims and are able to contribute to this work.

We gather evidence in the UK and worldwide to inform and invigorate practice, research and policy relating to play, environments for play and provision for play.

We also work with other IPA agencies worldwide to promote playing as a universal human behaviour and to let people know about the benefits to children and young people from play.

What do I get for my membership fee?Discounts at IPA events worldwide, access to IPA archive materials and IPA EWNI Newsbrief sent to your email address. Your UK membership includes international membership and you get the Playrights magazine sent to your nominated postal address.

How long does membership last?Twelve months starting January each year. If you join after 1 October your membership is valid for the following year, so you can get up to 15 months membership.
