FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE VILLAGE AT LEESBURG ADDS FOUR SPECIALTY MERCHANTS LEESBURG, Va. (October 3, 2012) – Village at Leesburg announced today that four specialty merchants have signed temporary leases for retail space within the 1.2 million square foot mixed-use project at VA Route 7 and Crosstrail Blvd. Village at Leesburg was represented in the transaction by KLNB Retail. Arts in the Village is a cooperative effort between the Loudoun County Arts Council and Village at Leesburg located in Suite 114 of the 1601 block of Village Market Blvd. and occupying 2,135 square feet of retail space. Arts in the Village is a community art gallery featuring artwork from local and just celebrated their grand opening. Bellator Authentics, now open, specializes in autographed sports memorabilia and other high end professional and college team merchandise. Bellator occupies the 2,135-square-foot Suite 116 in the 1601 Block of Village Market Blvd. Ebrada Atelia, an upscale bridal salon, is now open and occupies 1,654 square feet of retail space in Suite 122 of the 1601 block of Village Market Boulevard. Ebrada features some of the top dress designers in the country as well as custom made pieces by the salon’s owner, Cathy Cleveland. Music and Art is now open and offers musical instrument rentals and sheet music, as well as music lessons and instrument repairs. They are located in Suite 115 of the 1610 block of Village Market Blvd. “We’re happy to welcome Arts in the Village, Bellator Authentics, Ebrada Atelier and Music & Art to Village at Leesburg,” said Michael Wheat, executive vice president and director of leasing for Cypress Equities. “These merchants each focus on a niche consumer market that will attract new guests to Village at Leesburg as well as appeal to the guests who already enjoy shopping here.” Village at Leesburg is a vertically-integrated, four-story village which encompasses 57 acres and features approximately 520,000 square feet of retail space, combined with 150,000 square feet of office product and 335 luxury multi-family residences. A Cypress Equities company* is developing the commercial components of the project and Kettler is developing the residential component. The Carlyle Group is the lead equity partner in the development and KLNB Retail is handling the leasing of the retail sections.
