AND DESCRIBING THE AREA TO B田ANNEXED

BE IT ORDAIN田D by血e Mayor and the Board of Aldermen of the Village of

FoIsom, State of Louisiana that

WH田REAS, Genie Ghgsby Harper and Richard W. Harper, both persons of the

full age of majohty and residents of and domiciled in the Parish of St・ Tammany, State

of Louisiana, have been shown to be the owners of the following deschbed immovable

PrOPerty Situated in the Parish of St・ Tammany:

ALL THAT CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND, tOgether with all hghts, Way,

means, Phvileges, Servitudes and appurtenances thereunto belonging or

in anywISe aPPertaining, Situated in Section lO’Township　5 South’

Being the same property acquired by Genie Ghgsby Harper and Richard

W・ Harper by act dated June 3O, 1998 bearing instrument number

llO2210 of the o純cial records of the Pahsh of St. Tanmany, State of

Louisiana.

WHEREAS, the above described immovable property is contiguous with the

municipa1 1imits of the Village of FoIsom,

WHEREAS? Genie Grigsby Harper and Richard W. Harper have petitioned the

Mayor and Board of Aldermen to annex血e sut)ject property into血e Village of FoIsom

and has requested that血e property be annexed wi血a zoning classification of"Residential" in accordance with血e V皿age of FoIsom Zoning Ordinance’Section

18.22,

WHEREAS}　the petition for annexation has met a11 requirements of law’

specifically including Louisiana Revised Statute 33: 172, and血e Mayor and Board of

AIdermen of the Village of FoIsom consider annexation of the above described

immovable property to beneficial to the Village of FoIsom,

WHEREAS,血e petition for annexation was accompanied by the certi五cate of

the duly elected and qualified Assessor for血e Parish of St・ Tammany’State of

Louisiana, Showing the above described immovable property and certifying血e

estimated valuation of the immovable property for the year 1998・

ⅧEREAS, the notice of the pe舶on for annexation of the above described

immovable property was duly given by publication on November 1999, in the ”St.

Tammany Farmer," a weekly newspaper having general circulation in the Village of

FoIsom and the Parish of St. Tammany,

WHEREAS’mOre than ten days have elapsed since血e date of said publication

and a11 public meetings and public heahngs required by law have been held,

BE IT ORDAIN田D by the Board of Aldermen of the Village of FoIsom’State of

Louisiana　血at　血e above deschbed immovable property be, and it is hereby,

incorporated within the municipa1止mits and boundahes of the Village of FoIsom’

State of Louisiana with a zoning classification of一’Residential.’’

BE IT FURTH田R ORDAINED血at a true copy of this ordinance be紺ed in the

conveyance records of the Clerk of Court for the Pahsh of St・ TammaIry tO Serve aS

OCCaSion may require.
