The Villgro Fellowship is looking for professionals to work in a leadership role, with an upcoming social enterprise in India. The Fellowship is a one-year leadership development programme designed for professionals who seek a career that is challenging and creates social impact. Through classroom sessions, field trips, hands-on mentoring, training, and a close working relationship with a social entrepreneur, it offers a first-hand feel of what it takes to build a social enterprise. About SCALE

SCALE is Villgro’s new initiative to promote social enterprise in developing economies by replicating Villgro’s incubation model. Our focus over the next year will be South East Asia.

SCALE Fellows

We are looking specifically to recruit Fellows from South East Asia to conduct research on the social enterprise eco-system in this region. Through the research and engagement with existing stakeholders in South East Asia through the year, Fellows will identify countries that Villgro could scale to.

Skills and Experience

In addition to our essential criteria, we are looking for candidates who have some exposure to the social enterprise space in these two regions. They should preferably have existing networks there or a strong ability to build networks in these regions.

Numbers

2 from South East Asia (Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia or the Philippines)

Location

Chennai for 3-4 months, remaining time will be spent in one of the above south east Asian countries

Selection process:

Villgro accepts applications via the online portal only. The selection process for the Villgro Fellowship is rigorous so as to find passionate and

committed leaders of tomorrow. Based on your skills, interests and fit, you will be placed in one of Villgro’s incubatee companies or Villgro programs. Selected applicant will receive flights to and back from India.
