In 2012, the list was selected from more than 17,000 new releases rated inindependent blind tastings. More than 5,500 of these wines earned outstandingor classic ratings (90 points or higher on Wine Spectator's 100-pointscale). In this year's list, 13 countries are represented, and quality remainshigh, with an average score of 93 points. We hope that you enjoy this list ofexciting values, emerging stars and time-honored stalwarts.

Many of these wines have already sold out, however several may have not yetbeen released by the wineries for sale yet. In some cases, The Vineyard may havea past or recent vintage of the wine available. Quantities are very limited!

Best of Augusta? Best of Columbia County? How about "Best of 365 Wine Shops in the USA!"Every year Wine Spectator picks the best wine shops in the nation. This year, for the second time sincewe opened, The Vineyard was picked as one of the best in the USA!

We were surprised when we got the call last month and we are listed in the November 30th issue. Unlikeother titles of "The Best" we didn't stuff any ballot box or buy advertising to win. We just do what we do;provide the finest selections of wine and service in the area. We bring to the community new and excitingwines and tastings and Wine Spectator, the experts in the wine industry, has taken notice! Thank you WineSpectator for the honor and the trust you have placed in The Vineyard.

Thank you to our loyal customers!
