He leaves his family, job and became a wandering holy man, eventually ends up in a deserted shrine on top of a village mountain, where he is fed by the villagers and one day trying to be heroic and save the villagers from a land

The Miracle of Purun Bhagat- Did Purun Bhagat Attain Moksha?

The tale of Purun Bhagat is about a man who is a Brahmin from birth so high caste that

caste ceased to have any particular meaning for him and his father is an important official in the

old-fashioned Hindu Court. As Purun Bhagat grew up he felt that in order to stand in the world

he must learn English got enrolled in Bombay University, step by step he eventually became

Prime minister of the kingdom. Then, at the peak of his career he casts aside all possession takes

a begging bowl and becomes a wandering holy man to attain moksha. He leaves his family, job

and became a wandering holy man, eventually ends up in a deserted shrine on top of a village

mountain, where he is fed by the villagers and one day trying to be heroic and save the villagers

from a land slide his elderly body couldn’t take it and he dies. The villagers make a shrine in this

memory. Even Purun Bhagat did a lot of good deeds in his lifetime I don’t think he attain

moksha

In Hinduism moksha means liberation form reincarnation and emerge in god and to an

end of a long journey of life.
