More Pictures from VIRTUAL SPRING PICTURE DAY! Join us as we celebrate Virtual Grandparents/Special Person Day on Wednesday, May 6. There are several things that we would like your family to do to make this day special for your child’s special person. This special chapel will include performances by our dance team and a special message for our honored guests. 1) Invite grandparents to join our special chapel service on Wednesday at 9 a.m. There is an invitation attached to this email that has the link for them to join. If they are unfamiliar with how to be in a Zoom meeting, practice with them this weekend. 2) Have your child make a sign 8 1/2 x 11 to hold up during chapel with a special message for them. Words should be large or just a heart would be great! 3) Have your child send a short video (10 seconds or less sending a message to their favorite person. They can hold up the sign they made or just talk about a favorite thing they love to do with them. Email these vide- os to Mrs. Dehn—[email protected] by Monday, May 4. 4) Look for your favorite picture of your child with their special person and email them in to Shawn for our special Facebook post. Roary’s Corner– Thank You Teachers

Thursday, May 7 is

National Day of

Prayer! The past

several years we

have had students

travel in their faith

families and visit

stations that were

led by teachers.

They would then

pray specifically for

these things or add

thing on your own.

Below is a list of

possible topics of

prayer. Set up

stations throughout

the house and travel

as a family to each

station and pray.

What’s the Word? Be Strong and Courageus

About 50 families came to Zoom chapel this past

Wednesday. This week’s message was based on the Bible

verse: Joshua 1:9 “Be strong and courageous. Do not be

afraid or discouraged for the Lord your God is with you

wherever you go.”

Students got to watch each other pick the “winners” in a

little trivia game. Which weighs more: a heart or a brain?

Which one is taller: the Arch or the Washington

Monument? Then they remembered that the real “winner”

is always God. He’s smarter than Google, bigger than the

universe, stronger than the coronavirus, and more powerful than sin, death, and the

devil. Knowing that God is always on our side certainly helps us be strong and

courageous.
