    By using various techniques of representation ofspace, architects evaluate the spatial values of theirprojects, and communicate with their clients andcollaborators.

    Different stages of projects are represented ondifferent levels of representation, from conceptual tofinal presentations. In architecture, objective formsof representation - orthogonal and axonometricprojections as floor plans, elevations, sections,isometric views, has great importance in exacttechnical description, but those pictures has littlepossibilities of activating attention and emotionalresponse, that is relevant in proposal of the projectto the human user.

     They also have low potential of dynamicaloperation that involves more complex levels ofinformation, including visual spatial locality andtemporality.

    Computer digital technology and graphicsestablishedwidely a new form of space – not only representational orpictorial butvirtual space. Notion of virtuality is mainlycorrelated to visual aspects of space, as simulation of the basic qualities of physical space by graphics. Manydifferent styles of pictorial representations, fromEgyptian, Byzantine or Chinese drawings, to orthogonalor axonometric projections in technical drawings,maintains space distance between picture space andviewer space.

    Representation that enables virtuality, as deeperinvolvement of spectator in to the pictorial space, ishistorically established in the period of renaissance,through linear perspective graphic representation ofspace. That particular kind of picture creation includespictorial spatial representation, geometric abstraction andsome kind of imitation of real sensory mediated visualspace. Perspective drawing as graphic spacerepresentation, includes the real and virtual dimension ofspace, not only by visual illusion of the third dimension

    of physical space, but providing some kind ofpsychological involvement and transfer of the spectator

    The creative part of the design process is very hard to grasp in a formal way, but can be identified with a process ofcan identify five stages in the total architectural consultation process(Maheshwari and Warsi, 2003),in which threreally of our concern. Even in those three stages, the second stage is the area of focus in this study. The five stages a

     Introductory stage(client’s brief, codes and standards, climate and other studies, data, literature studies, planningconcept).

     Sketch design stage(conceptual sketch, functional diagram, form and space, approval, plans, elevations, model stlustrations).

     Working drawing stage(detail design in scale and working sheet, structural designs, mechanical, electrical and ot

     Construction and supervision stage(on site execution, supplying the contractor, supervision and overall observat

     Post occupancy evaluation(modifications, alterations, renovations, problem identification, analysis and solution)

    Perspective pictures has no direct equivalence

    to natural visual stimulation of eye vision.Psychological and physiological character ofperception are more complex than anyrepresentation on two dimension.

     J.J. Gibson, claiming that the optic array from apicture and the optic array from a physicalworld can provide the same informationwithout providing the same stimulation.

    So perspective pictures are not picturesequivalent to direct visual retinal perception assimulated vision, and not a mere convention, but they are the pictorially mediatedinformational matrices that has commonfeatures with direct perception of the world.

    Virtual reality and virtual environments in architecture becomes a

    synonym for computer generated 3d real-time graphic environments.3D real-time computer environments provides representation moreequivalent to natural sensory space perception through interactivemedia and motion involved in representation.

    Contemporary digitalized virtualization enables not just a form of tele-presence as remote presence, but simulation of some dynamic changesin virtual environment.

    • Virtual reality in architectural representation is used to visualizecomplex information of object construction and form, to simulatedifferent variants of design, or to simulate and explore other dynamicdata of building development, as lightning, thermal or acousticconditions.

    • Virtual reality is today evolving from 3d previously planned computeranimations, as passive perceptual experience of designed space, tointeractive exploration.

    • Virtuality is not just advanced media product that enables representation and simulation of reality by

    perfect pictorial imitation, but expansion of informational pictorial space conceptions, that could be findthrough history of representations, from perspective invention to contemporary digitalized real-timeremote operation.

    • Virtual reality and virtual architecture could be just part of conceptual or representational level ofproject development, but also becomes active part of the real physical architectural space.
