VirtuSurv

Efficiently process 3D-laser scanning data in and for RevitVirtuSurv is a stand-alone program for processing high definition 3D laser scanning data. VirtuSurv supports the import, export and visualisation of numerous laser scanner data formats.

VirtuSurv for Revit consists of the Windows program VirtuSurv and a Revit Add-in with its own command palette in the Revit ribbon. The 3D laser scanning project is created, managed and processed in the Windows program. The Revit add-in takes care of the communication between the Windows program and Revit, it ensures that during the processing in the Windows program, entities are simultaneously placed and drawn in Revit, and provides additional processing functionality in Revit.

Use Construction Assistants VirtuSurv facilitates the creation of construction assistants project environment and also in the family editor. In Revit use detail and model lines, construction points and working planes as the basis for modelling complex shapes and objects. VirtuSurv works here in a real 3D mode, all elements can be freely defined in space, independent of Revit's working plane.

Point Clouds in the Family EditorVirtuSurv facilitates the display and processing of point cloud areas direct in the family editor. Easily create, directly from the 3D scan data, object specific families for doors, windows, columns and many more. Use the special features of the planar view in VirtuSurv in combination with the displayed point cloud in Revit.

Worked with linked documentsUse the versatile VirtuSurv commands to place project coordinates, also to optionally define a "shared coordinate system" in Revit. Linked models, site plans and geo-referenced point clouds can then be edited in such a shared coordinate system.
