INTRODUCTION

This survey has conducted for second year students (A/B sections), Civil Engineering Department according to

M.U.Curriculum.

This report describes the results of the survey conducted for the project.

1 OBJECTIVE

The main objective of the survey was to identify the undulations of surface and developing contour maps, setting

out a simple circular curve with crossection and profile levelling for a road surface having different directions. It

can also helps to calculate capacity of reservoir and in planning of road,railway,canal alignments.

The entire survey was carried out by deploying all equipment to acquire the surface profile data.

The survey line pattern consisted of the following:

1.3 Topographic Survey

Topographic surveys shall be carried out at ViMEET to be surveyed in an area of 100 m x 100 m with a

grid interval of 10m/5m.

Topographic survey will also be carried out to cover a cardinals of 10m in entire area.
