Our US team is looking for an experienced Operator to work in our plant in Houston, Texas.
Your Main Responsibilities
The Operator works in the Production department and may have areas of responsibility in one or more areas of the Production. This is or may include Shredders, Granulators, Bagging, Tower and in the Millrooms.
• Operate Shredders and/or Granulators
• Assist with plant changeovers
• Adjust equipment to meet product specifications
• Clean Tower and machinery
• Conduct quality control checks
• Operate fork lift to move product in preparation for processing and after
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow safety regulations
• Ensure safety policies are understood and enforced
• Comply with OSHA safety and health rules
Qualifications and Education
Working experience as an Operator in a similar industry is strongly preferred. Technical school or certification will be considered. To be successful in this position, you must have good trouble-shooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
