DVS operates two long term care facilities offering skilled nursing, Alzheimer’s/dementia care and short term rehabilitation, three state veteran cemeteries, and the Virginia War Memorial. NURSING AND MEDICAL STAFFRegisterednurses,licensedpracticalnurses,andcertifiednursingassistantsprovide24-hourcaretoour200residents.ResidentsmaychooseaprimarycareproviderfromseveralphysicianswhoserveSBVCC.Sitter&BarfootVeteransCareCenterenjoysacloseworkingrelationshipwithalllocalhospitals.Asaresult,residentshaveeasyaccesstodiversemedicalspecialties.
