of13,000feetiscertainlyunforgettable!Freefallsatbreathtakingspeedstowardsearth (landing point) afford awesomeviewsof the island,anda rush likenoother. Tsunami’sskydiversaretheonlycivil-iansthatintentionallyjumpintothewa-ter,followingitupwithaSCUBAdive.Talkabouttwoextremes!!AccordingtoGrimm, jumping theBlueHolewasadream,“andafarflungideaatthetime”,but ithasnow turned into thegreatestskydivingadventureonearth.
IttookRichtwoyearsandalotoftripsdowntoBelizebeforeTsunamiSkydiverscould receivepermission to skydiveon theisland.WiththefirstBoogiein2005,therewere92participants.2006sawagroupof126,while2007registeredthehighestnumberofparticipants:167.In2008thenumbersdroppedto132.Withtheeconomichardshipsof2009,only66madeit.Lastyear,thenumbersincreasedto128.ThisyearwouldmakethesecondlargestgrouptoattendtheBoogieat153.Everyyear,BoogieinBelizetriestostepupitsgame,andwiththeirsecondbatchofjumpersdoingtheSkyfariBelize,they’veal-readysetthebarhigh.“SkyfariBelize”isasmallgroupofjumperscomingoverfromEurope.Theirplanistotourthenation,jumping
