Visits to animal shelters in Mîrșa and Sibiu On September 21 and 24 th , 2015, the students involved in the project together with the coordinating teachers visited the animal shelter from Mirsa and a bigger shelter from Sibiu, the last one being under the auspices of a nonprofit organization - the "Animal Life" Association for the Protection of Animals and Nature. Children were informed by the association volunteers on their work done for the benefit of the abandoned animals and on the adoption procedures, while being taught how to behave with dogs and how to take care of them. Our students were enthusiastic, wanting to carry forward the message to help homeless, friendless and stray animals. They played happily with the dogs in the shelters and they fed them with special food for animals. The visit was beneficial, setting in the minds of the children the feeling of empathy for homeless and abandoned animals, deprived of the love of a master-friend, and amplifying their desire to be an "everyday hero" regarding the animals, helping each one, by his or her own strength, to the so necessary good of the beautiful four-legged friends!

  • Visits to animal shelters in Mîrșa and Sibiu

On September 21 and 24th, 2015, the students involved in the project

together with the coordinating teachers visited the animal shelter from Mirsa

and a bigger shelter from Sibiu, the last one being under the auspices of a

nonprofit organization - the "Animal Life" Association for the Protection of

Animals and Nature. Children were informed by the association volunteers on

their work done for the benefit of the abandoned animals and on the adoption

procedures, while being taught how to behave with dogs and how to take care

    of them.

Our students were enthusiastic, wanting to carry forward the message to

help homeless, friendless and stray animals. They played happily with the dogs

in the shelters and they fed them with special food for animals. The visit was

beneficial, setting in the minds of the children the feeling of empathy for

homeless and abandoned animals, deprived of the love of a master-friend, and

amplifying their desire to be an "everyday hero" regarding the animals, helping

each one, by his or her own strength, to the so necessary good of the beautiful

    four-legged friends!
