The website is our #1 tool for marketing Sioux Falls to both visitors and meeting planners. The new website is modern and fresh and now current with today’s technology,” said Teri Ellis Schmidt, CVB Executive Director. The Sioux Falls CVB’s new site features a whole new cosmetic overhaul with bold colors and vivid imagery showcasing views from around the city. New functionality has been added to the site making it easier for potential visitors to view and request a Visitors Guide or sign up for the CVB’s e-newsletter. An interactive trip builder lets visitors to the site build their own customized Sioux Falls itinerary and then print it or email it to themselves. New sections have been added to the site including: a Social page which houses the CVB’s social media streams; a more in-depth media page that includes a section specifically for travel writers; Falls Park now has its own page with more photos, details and historic information; visitor events are now prominently shown in the CVB’s event calendar; the photo gallery has been expanded and dozens of new photos have been added; and more! Trip Advisor has been integrated into the attractions, dining, and hotel directory listings allowing people to view ratings, read reviews and check hotel rates. A Book Now button also allows visitors to link directly to a hotel’s reservations page. The new website has been designed to boost sales efforts, creating a more enjoyable experience and offering more in-depth information for planners thinking about bringing their meeting, convention or event to the city. Meeting and Event planners can now readily access the CVB Sales team and view local facility upgrades and updates in as easy as one click of the mouse. Planners will also be able to view or request a Planners Guide and build a custom Request for Proposal.

The previous web address, SiouxFallsCVB.com, has been updated as well and can be found under a new web address at VisitSiouxFalls.com. “We feel our new web address will be easier for the general public to remember and it follows suit with a growing trend for how other Convention & Visitors Bureau’s are addressing their websites,” said Schmidt. The new website was designed and developed by Click Rain under the direction of the staff of the Sioux Falls CVB.
