He spoke about how the Internet has lost its lustre and the steps necessary for remediation and rebuilding trust, the real gold of the digital economy.   !

Carlos Gil, Director, TELUS Security Architecture & Security Compliance, spoke about the evolving IT landscape and the many new risks in the corporate environment. John Proctor, Vice President, Global Cyber Security, CGI, talked about the challenges associated with the need to do more security with smaller budgets in a time when the threats are becoming more complex and the cost of achieving due diligence continues to increase. He shared ways to show value in security and to deliver on today’s privacy requirements. !!Using IT Asset Management Solutions as Investigative Tools !

Absolute Software presented Lance Mueller, Director of Forensics, Executive Forensics, who spoke about how typical procedures and processes meant to safeguard data often fail to take advantage of investigative data that may be available from an organization’s IT asset management tools. He shared how organizations can access this data for more in-depth investigations into suspicious events to determine whether or not a breach or threat truly exists.
