This perfection is the realization of the infinite power which resides in everything and every-where-existence, consciousness and bliss.

Education, in Vivekananda’s sense, enables one to comprehend one’s self within as the self everywhere.

Swamiji lays great stress on physical health because a sound mind resides in a sound body. He often quotes the Upanishadic dictum ‘nayamatma balahinena labhyah’; i.e. the self cannot be realized by the physically weak.

Swamiji, the mind of the students has to be controlled and trained through meditation, concentration and practice of ethical purity.

Relevance to the Current Context

i. “They alone live who live for others, the rest are more dead than alive.”

ii. “There is no chance of the welfare of the world, unless the condition of women is improved. It is not possible for a bird to fly on one wing”

iii. “Take up an idea, make that one idea your life, think of it, dream of it, live of it, let the brain, muscle, nerves, every part of your body be full of that idea and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way great spiritual giants are produced, others are mere talking machines.”
