Welcome to the 2019

Visual MediaConference

This year the VMC will explore how businesses can be truly sustainable in all areas by adopting an innovative, creative mind-set. Reacting to media trends, the conference will use interactive journeys to explain the value of different aspects of the media mix.

You’ll also hear about proactive approaches to uncertainty, as well as advice on how to ensure a brand shines in a cluttered market. Then there’s the latest marketing technology to see, discussed and demonstrated by experts.

The VMC intends to be a catalyst for inspiration, bringing together like-minded individuals to learn, connect and be amazed. So be prepared to be totally engaged with our dynamic speakers, creative performances, exciting exhibitions and demos while networking with your peers.

RobertWe live in uncertain times when understanding of change is crucial. At VMC 2019, our theme of Innovation and Sustainability seeks to provide answers by bringing together international experts in branding, marketing, design and printing. As always, we’ll bring to you the very latest in marketing communications and its technology and channels, including Channel 4.

This year, we’re particularly looking forward to hearing from the Euro Panel, where we’ll discover how the world sees the UK industry and gain insight into the implications for the future of our sectors regarding innovation and sustainability. Thank you to Charles Jarrold, BPIF, for chairing the session and Dale Wallis, BPIF, for his assistance in bringing the panel together.

As well as a rich array of speakers, exhibitions, performances, demos and networking opportunities, don’t miss the finale of our presentation slots, “Show me the money?”. Hear answers from three influential speakers, revealing models that work and a key project looking for private sector companies like yours to partner with. All this leads into the drinks reception courtesy of our partners at Pimento.

I’m grateful to all our supporters and sponsors who allow us to make this a ‘free to attend’ event, including founder sponsors Jaywing and ProCo who work with HP to create our own brand and collateral. Special thanks to Andy Pike at HP, Jon Bailey at ProCo and Rob Shaw at Jaywing. Thank you to the BPIF team including Amy Hutchinson and Meeka Walwyn-Lewis who pull it all together, as well as Claire Knox and Rich Chappelow from Jaywing who are the creative geniuses behind our own brand.
