Jefferson’s Ocean Aged Wheated Bourbon aged at the Sea Voyage15 is unique among all othervoyages. The mashbill for this voyage uses wheat as its small grain instead of rye. Wheat is lighter andnot as bold of a flavor as rye so during the maturation process its allows more of the corn’s sweetnessand the wood’s vanilla to be enjoyed.

Creaminess to the mouth feel of the bourbon, and a sweeter flavor that is slightly lighter than thesweetness typically derived from the majority corn recipe, Up-front a salted Crème Brûlée with vanillagives way to tobacco and oak mid palate. Notes found in all previous Ocean Voyages are amplified inOcean Voyage 15 - Wheated as the salt, Carmel, and wood do not have the spice of the rye to competewith.

This whiskey is different than the other Jefferson’s Ocean Barrels because this is a wheated whiskeyand does not have rye which leads it to a milder flavor and allows for a lot of other flavors that arenormally muted to be enjoyed.
