Mt. Saint Helens was one of the worst eruptions in history!

Caldera after its eruption(a large crater)

They’re 3 kinds of volcanoes!!

• The First is Shield Volcanoes

Shield Volcanoes erupt gentler then other of volcano types.

Second is Cinder Cone Volcano

• Cinder Cone volcanoes are made up of cinders and pyroclastic material.

Third is Composite volcano

• One example of a composite volcano is Mt. Saint Helens

Pompeii

Mt. Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD and buried The City of Pompeii in ash and flames.
