A Note from Pastor Rich

May is a special month of the year. On May 12 we will honor moms with a

Mother’s Day service. Encourage your kids to be at Langley for this big day.

I hope to see rows filled with family!

May is also the time we honor our graduates. The school year is drawing to

a close and the time has come to honor the class of 2019. We are blessed to

have a couple of graduates this year so please, come out and us honor them

for a job well done.

On the next page you will find a daily prayer reminder. “A church that prays

together, stays together” expresses perfectly the importance of praying as a

church body. Take a few moments each day to pray for your church family.

I want to say a special “thank you” to all those who helped out during our

Easter season. Volunteers make things happen at Langley. Thanks to those

who worked so hard to bring together our first Passover Seder. What a won-

derful night! Thanks also to the volunteers who put on a wonderful egg hunt

for our kids. The weather was a challenge but our volunteers didn’t miss a

beat! Thanks also to those who came out early to set up for the Sunrise Ser-

vice. Your efforts helped us have a beautiful service. I’m happy to be part of

a hard-working church family.
