colonized.
6. Nephi saw that blessings rested upon the
Americans so that eventually with His help they
obtained their independence.
7. This w as necessary so that the land w ould be
prepared for Joseph Smith, under the direction of our
Father in heaven, to later establish The Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Lesson 131 – Reading: The Word of Wisdom What things harm our bodies? Alcohol and tobacco and hot drinks and caffeine are not good for man.
What things can we do to help keep our bodies healthy? Stay away from the things that are not good for us. The story doesn’t tell us the things to do, but in the Word of Wisdom we are told to eat grains and fruits and vegetables and to eat meat sparingly.
