PSAT Results Presentation:
College Park and The Woodlands High are teaming up for PSAT Results
Presentations this year. December 11th at 7pm there will be a PSAT results
presentation at The Woodlands High Auditorium and December 15th at
11am there will be a PSAT results presentation in the CPHS LGI. We
expect College Board to release access to PSAT scores in early
December. Students and Parents will be emailed information about how to
obtain scores when scores are available. Interpretation will be available
through the College Board website as well. Results presentations will cover
how to interpret the scores, test prep for the SAT, and brief information
about National Merit. Please note, national merit cutoff scores are not
released until September of each year, the presentation will only explain
about the National Merit program.

College Park FFA: College Park Future Farmers of America help students learn more about having leadership and develop knowledge about agricul-tural that goes on in the world. Students have the opportunity to show their skills by doing things like livestock judging, showing animals, building flower arrangements, welding, and so many more other events. Incoming students who are new to College Park High School need to make sure that they are enrolled in some type of Ag. class.
On Thursday, November 9, HOSA sponsored a blood drive honoring Meghan Rudd, CP graduate 2017, currently battling leukemia. We had 85 donors and collected 109
units potentially saving more than 300 lives!!

TWCP MCJROTC Cadet wins Texas State All Service JROTC Air Rifle Championship
Sophomore Philip Becker took home 1st place in the Precision Category at the 2017 Texas State All Service JROTC Air Rifle Championship held 16-18 November in San Antonio, TX. Over 50 teams and hundreds of individuals representing the best JROTC shooters in the state in the Sporter and Precision categories com-peted in the annual event.

On Monday Nov. 13, we had Region Orchestra auditions for our band students. This audition is an opportunity to make the Region Orchestra and to qualify for the Area Auditions. Area is the final step before becoming a Texas All-State member - the highest individual honor a Texas musician can achieve while in High School. We send our very best students who are prepared at the time as we are limited to the amount of students we can send to this audition. We took 38 students to the audi-
tion and 21 made the Region Orchestra. On top of that, we had 6 make Area and will competing in
the beginning of January to become an All State member. We are proud of all 38 who prepared themselves to make this audition.
If you see any of these students throughout the day, please congratulate them on their success. They will be performing this weekend at Klein Forest High School. If any of you are interested in watching the concert, please email me directly and I can give you the information for which group they will be in.

Orchestra Students who made the Region Orchestra and will be performing in one of the two orchestras this Saturday at Klein Forest High School. Out of these students, Chris Chan was selected by competitive audi-tion to participate in the Texas Music Educators Association All-State Orchestra this February, as a string player, he competed against some of the most talented student cellists in the state and ranked 26th out of the 168 cellists that auditioned across the state. We are very proud of all of our students who auditioned for these groups Out of the students who made region orchestra in CISD, we have the most students represented. GO CP! In addition, we had 10 students participate in the inaugural Conroe ISD 9th/10th Grade Honor Orchestra. These students competed against other 9th/10th graders in CISD and we also had a large percentage of the Orchestra. If you see any of these students, congratulate them on what they have accomplished!
