ADMINISTRATOR’S CORNERHappy New Years!!
January is the start of a new year and it's starting out crazy. We're being over-run by a flock of chickens! The Mooseriders will try to explain what happened here on January 27 during their ?Chicken Game? Don't miss this one, should be a lot of fun. Don't count your chickens before you come down here as there's a couple of turkey's mixed in here just for the fun of it.
January 6th is the final chance for you to win our Karaoke Contest. Top singer will advance to Green Bay to the State Mid-year conference, for the chance to go to International Convention in New Orleans for a grand prize of $5000 dollars.
January 12th is the kid's movie night featuring "Despicable Me 3" for the movie. Show starts at 5:30 pm sharp.
January 13th is "Beer / Booze / Bingo". This is one of our member's favorite game nights. Don't miss the fun.
January 20th the Mooseriders will be having a membership drive night. Sign up and enjoy all the fun rides and events the riders host. This would be a good time to come down and find out about all the chickens as well.
February 4th we will be having a Super Bowl party here at the lodge. Great fun, raffles and food to be had. Plus all the crazy super bowl ads to watch.
February 10th we will have our first "Winter Moosefest". Bands are still being booked for this event, but the verbal commitments so far are looking great.
February 17th is our Sweethearts dinner dance. This has always been a good time. Tickets will be available on January 12th, 2018.
February 24th it's back! "The Moose Zoo Review" has been dusted off and the not ready for primetime players are eager to put on another great show. Tickets will be going on sale on February 1st. Get them early as we will sell out fast!
Check out all the benefits we have as Moose members on the states web-site wismoose.org, the International web-site mooseintl.org and of course our site, kenoshamoose286.com for all the latest updates for events or membership signing opportunities. Fraternally Yours,
Richard Smart, Administrator

NEWS FROM YOUR GOVERNORHappy New Years! This past year has been great and I'm looking forward to another great year. Our Packer parties were great and everyone had a lot of fun. Next year will be better with Aaron back and healthy. The bus trip to Mooseheart on December 2nd for the tree lighting was fantastic, everyone who went had a great time and the dinner at Zion-Benton lodge was out of this world. Great job, Zion-Benton!I want to thank everyone who helped out with Christmas and New Years to make both parties lots of fun for all who came to celebrate. You volunteers are the greatest. Hats off to Brian Vergenz and Andy Burger for a great German food night on December 22nd. It was a great success and your staff was the best as always. We are starting new and exciting events for all our members to enjoy and participate at. For our younger members and those young at heart, we will be hosting "Winter Moosefest" on February 10th. It will be run similar to our summer Moosefest but indoors instead. More details next month.
Millenially yours, Joe Matteucci, Governor

NEWS FROM YOUR SENIOR REGENTHAPPY NEW YEAR!Can you believe it? Another year has come and gone. I hope all our members and their families had a wonderful and safe holiday season. I wish for our Moose Lodge complete success for the entire 2018 year! I do hope our “awesome” members will step up to the plate more and help volunteer or help where needed. It’s simple and a great way to meet others and socialize at the same time. Let's keep working on building our membership. It so nice to see new faces and ideas come across our board of officers, speaking of that – we are also on the hunt for any of our members who would like to be nominated for the upcoming Women of the Moose board – there are openings! If interested please contact any of our board members for more information. Just a re-cap on the Nov.–Dec. events that really helped out our committees; Quarter Auction, Membership Retention (Moose is always accepting New Members & Renewals), Veteran’s Day Memorial, Moose Heart Tree Lighting trip, Cookie Sale, Kids Holiday party, Christmas Eve – Customer Appreciation and the “traditional” New Year’s party were all very successful this past year. The next activity meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 @ 7PM and co-chairman Christa Schneider/Activities & Sports will have a fun night planned for us after the meeting. Here is a reminder that on March 10, 2018 the Moose will be holding a Craft Fair from 9-2PM if you are interested please contact either Pam @ 262-818-1347 or Debbie @ 262-818-5803 or email
