Participating in activities that I enjoy helps me to be passionate about work and volunteering. Whether building specialty proj- ects in customer’s homes, leading a group of 13-year-olds on a mountain excursion, or simply enjoying time with family, I am thank- ful and lucky to love what I do. On a personal note, I have shared my passion for hiking with family, friends, and colleagues. I am very proud of my daughters for steadily working towards summiting all forty-eight 4,000+ footers in the White Mountains. This October I spent a week at Mount Cardigan vol- unteering as a chaperone for the Lurgio Middle School and introducing a new group of Bedford 8th graders to the joys and challenges of the outdoors. Additionally, I launched the Bedford Mountain Club at Lurgio Middle School and our first outing will take place in November. Finally, our company’s most recent team-build- ing activity was tackling a difficult hike in the Southern Presidentials. What’s in the Hill? › News from the Hill › Community Service › The LHC Team: Giving Back, Growing Together › 2017 Cornerstone Awards › Our “Bulldog of Bedford” › Specialty Projects › A Place to Make Happy Memories Look for us in New Hampshire Home Magazine. THE LHC TEAM: GIVING BACK, GROWING TOGETHER

Richard Branson once said: “Clients do not come first. Employees come first. If you take care of your employees, they will take care of your clients”. We value the importance of team-build-ing and the opportunities it provides to both give back to the community and to give back to oneself. The “Once-Bought, Twice-Played” recycled swing-set initiative has so far provided three opportunities to make life a little happier for some very deserving families, and the sense of camaraderie among the LHC team in taking part is priceless. Thanks to a recent partnership with the United Way of Greater Nashua, we have several deserving recipients for this year’s project; please consider donating your play structure to this worthy cause. LHC is once again honored to be part of BOH’s spring 2018 renovation project, The Crisis Center of Central NH.

    CORNERSTONE AWARDS 2017

    BULLDOG OF BEDFORD

At the recent New Hampshire Cornerstone Awards ceremony Liberty Hill Construction was honored to receive three first-place Gold Awards for excellence in building and remodeling, and for leadership in the industry. Perhaps the most significant of the three was the Gold Award in the “Community Service Project” category. The “Once-Bought, Twice-Played” play structure recy-cling program earned the top honor, an especially meaningful recognition of the program that is a great source of pride for the entire team.

In addition to our puppy Bowman, we “ac-quired” another very special dog this fall. In celebration of the tenth anniversary of the Bedford High School, we have sponsored a “Bedford Bulldog” sculpture, the proceeds from which will support the school and the BHS community. Our bulldog can be found at the Bedford Public Library. Lyudmyla Mayorska Hoffman, artist and owner of the Purple Porcu-pine Art Studio, generously donated her artistic talent to design and paint it.

care of one another is what we do – and that care extends to our customers and the greater community.

Gently-used swing-set or play structure wanted! Please contact us to remove your gently-used item to pass along to a deserving young family!

    Design, Build, and Remodel Company

    www.libertyhillconstruction.com

From a traditional carriage house outfitted with a golf simulator to a tranquil backyard oasis, creating a detached space to indulge one’s passion, entertain friends, and reflect on the good things in life is one of our favorite types of projects here at Liberty Hill Construc-tion. Working closely with the homeowner, special one-of-a-kind details and amenities are incorporated into an overall design. The result is a visually pleasing, well-constructed space that can be enjoyed for years to come.

Smaller touches, whether part of an overall renovation or an ad-

dition to complete a space, can be just as rewarding and useful to the homeowner. These range from a beautifully appointed pantry to complete a newly renovated kitchen, a set of custom built-ins to provide a “space for everything” as part of a basement remodel, or the addition of an outdoor shower.

This sampling of projects highlights the range and diversity of what we can build for you. Take a moment to relax, envision what you have always wanted, and give us a call!

Our newsletter theme of being grateful and giving back, including giving back to oneself, is represented in this sampling of five projects that reflect a desire by the homeowner to invest in something unique that “they have always wanted”, a dream or idea that they were able to realize.
