BOTE Volunteer Week Message

Our Bridge On The Edge is a completely member owned initiative. It is built upon a conviction that shared goals and objectives, identified by its membership, will define an agenda of services and programs. While there is a minimal annual member fee and a game fee that is charged based on the annual budget reported at its AGM, no other sources of revenue are at its disposal. There is a myriad of tasks and duties necessary for the efficient and effective operation of the club. Some of these are achieved as a result of the annual budget plan. Its members contribute the others freely to BOTE. It is wonderful to witness any singular event sponsored by BOTE and realize the extent of individual member input that is manifested. In fact it revives one’s faith in human nature to realize that a group of individuals, who gather for a common purpose, can achieve so much with such a minimal financial expenditure. This is only possible because the efforts of each person, on a singular level, have combined into a synergy which stimulates the complete operation. To describe each task, or to list by name each contributor, would take away from the magic of our operations. To offer a sincere word of gratitude to our volunteers is fitting at this time as 2020 VOLUNTEER WEEK is upon us. The Board of Administration of BOTE offers a humble Thank You to our many volunteers. Without your efforts and commitment our BOTE could not exist.
