Lithium•LiCl is converted into Li2CO3, Lithium Carbonate or into LiOH-H2O lithium hydroxide monohydrate.•Used in lithium ion batteries, ceramics, rubber and some Portland cement formulations.•World wide shortage due to electric car market growth.

Magnesium• High grade

magnesium is used in the following industries:

• Epsom salts, pulp and paper, construction materials, steel and nickel refining, fiber glass, water treatment, soil remediation, fertilizer, animal feed, and pharmaceuticals.

Barite (Barytes, Barium Sulfate) is thenaturally occurring mineral form of bariumsulphate.

Barite's main properties are its high specificgravity (4.5sg) and very low solubility. It isenvironmentally friendly non-toxic and alsochemically and physically un-reactive.

• Crushing• Gravity Separation• Grinding• IM Extraction

Barite is ground into a fine powder and used in anumber of industrial applications.

VM`s Target Market: The Industrial Barite Market = Financial Diversification and Stability

The Industrial Barite Market

• Estimated imports of 400,000 metric tonnes per year into USA. (USGS)

• Prices for Industrial-grade barite are at a premium due to the fact that high gradebarite is very rare.

• The majority of barite deposits worldwide do not meet industrial grade specifications.

• Frances Creek barite grade is high quality, after processing it potentially can be sold into thehigh grade industrial market. High Grade currently sells for US $700 to $5,000 per tonneFOB China. Low grade Industrial products sell for $300-$500/ tonne.

Page 11: VOYAGEUR MINERALS LTD...2020-2022. China total barite consumption is expected to grow to over 3,300,000 tonnes by 2020-2022. China is worlds third largest barite consumer,1.5 million

Industrial Production Potential Economics CAN$ per tonne of recoverable barite • Sales Powder : $2,500 per metric tonne• Estimated Costs: $600 per metric tonne• Profit EBITA: $1,900 per metric tonne• 20,000 metric tonnes per year potentially generates CAD$38,000,000 EBITA in profit

Only require 200,000 tonnes of barite reserves for a ten year mine life As reserves increase our production will increase Sales in US $ + production in CAD $ = Increased Profit Innovation Metals extraction technology allows for production of high purity barite

products that vary in price from CAD$1,000 per tonne to CAD$6,000/tonne. High end 99.9%retails for US$250/kg on line sales ( www.sigmaaldrich.com/catalog/product/sigald/243353?lang=en&region=CA )

*Cost are estimated, completion of Innovation Metals testing required to formulate costs analysis.

Owning the only high grade industrial barite deposit in Canada will allow Voyageur to grow

rapidly and produce cash flow.

China Will Become Largest Consumer of Barite in the Near Future Limiting World Exports

China barite consumption is rapidly growingand they will have limited exports for the NorthAmerican and world markets.

China shale gas drilling projected to consume50% of Chinese barite consumption.

Currently shale gas wells in China canconsume 1000 tonnes to 2000 tonnes of bariteon a single well.

China Shale gas drilling is projected toconsume over 1,640,000 tonnes per year by2020-2022. China total barite consumption isexpected to grow to over 3,300,000 tonnes by2020-2022.

China is worlds third largest barite consumer,1.5million tonnes in 2016, 48% of Chineseproduction.

➢100% of high grade industrial barite isIMPORTED into North America.

➢Majority of foreign industrial grade barite requiresan acid treatment to high grade the barite to+97% BaSO4, which is expensive.

➢Majority of barite grading over 97.5% is createdchemically in a laboratory (barium precipitate /blanc fixe).

➢VM barite is naturally occurring to as high as96.5%-99.5% BaSO4,in-situ (based on current icp lab

testing).High grade barite cost less to create high

purity products with IM technology.

Industrial grade barite deposits are very rare in nature

Barite Technology Joint Venture • Voyageur enters a 75% VM / 25% IM joint venture with

Innovation Metals. • JV may allow VM to create high end barite products from its

three barite deposits in BC.• FC and Pedley Mountain have a combined current resource

estimated to be over 200,000 tonnes. • This combined resource may allow Voyageur to grow

production of high purity barite to 20,000 tonnes per year of production over a ten year mine life based on current resource.

• On going successful drilling may allow VM to continue to expand the resource on these projects.

ULI Roberts' RuptureHighest Grade Li Brine in USA

In Q2 2016 VM acquires acreage in the prolific lithium rich Paradox basinlocated in Utah USA. Focussing on the high grade fault zone known as theRoberts’ Rupture.

Historic fluid analysis from the immediate area range as high as 1,700 ppmlithium in saturated mineral brines. Equivalent to highest grade deposits in SouthAmerica.

Naturally flowing brine aquifer that has historical flow rates of 50,000bbl/day tosurface. High flow rates to surface and new advancements in lithium extractiontechnology may allow for high production with fewer wells.

Active lithium exploration district with claims surrounding the Roberts Rupture.Other active companies in the area including Voltaic Minerals, Scientific Mineralsand MGX Resources, all have claims around VM’s Paradox Basin claims.

Roberts' Rupture Potential For Low Cost Lithium & Magnesium Production in the USA

Roberts' Rupture is the controlling geologic feature responsible for the high grade brine concentrations and flow rates

Latest seismic interpretation indicates the aquifer is intact at depth and trapped.

Geology indicates grades will potentially increase to depth and that our claims cover the sweet spot of the aquifer.

Historically the only two high grade lithium wells in the Paradox Basin, were drilled into the Robert’s Rupture - up dip from our claim block.

Risk Factors

➢ As barite prices continue to rise more companies may begin exploration and new mines may come into production adding to supply which may lower prices in the long term.

➢ Geological risks may prove that the current barite deposits are not economic after drilling is completed.

➢ Political risks; government change in BC at the local, provincial and federal level could change the currently favorable environment for mining investment in the Province.
