PRIOR TO THE INSTALLATION OF EQUIPMENT:• Read the operating manual to make sure that the installation meets all the requirements
asspecifiedwithintheOperatingandInstallationmanualprovidedwithyourunit.
CLEANING PROCESS:Please note• Always switch off unit and circuit breakers at main power supply after use, during
maintenance and cleaning.• Use only warm soapy water and a soft cloth when cleaning.• never use steel wool, soda or any other harsh abrasives for cleaning.• Do not hose the unit down.• Do not force food particles into the drain off pipe or draw off tap as it will cause
blockages.

INSTALLATION:1) Beforeleavingthefactory,theunithasbeenfullyassembledandundergonefinaltests.2) Remove plastic material protecting the panels.3) Leveltheunitusingtheflooradjustersandcheckwithaspiritlevel.4) Clean the Bain Marie wells out thoroughly using water only.5) DonotswitchtheBainMarieonoruseasadrywellastheunitisfittedwithaWater
immersion element.6) Switch the hot cupboard section on to burn off any factory residues. This operation
may result in smoke being emitted from the unit.7) Ensure that the unit is effectively earthed.8) The unit is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
9) Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

10) The installation of the equipment must be done by a qualified registered Technician all in compliance with statutory Health and Safety Regulations.

OPERATION:
1) Switchthecircuitbreakersonbyliftingtheflapontherighthandsideofthecontrolpanel.
2) Switch the hot cupboard on by turning the switch to the number “1” position. The indicator lamp will illuminate.
3) The preset thermostat will regulate the temperature inside the hot cupboard.4) fill the well with water and ensure that the element is covered.5) Turn the thermostat knob to the required temperature. The thermostat will regulate
the temperature of the water.6) Place the Gastronorm inserts into the well. 7) The unit is now ready for use.
PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE:
1) Do a routine check on the general appearance.2) Check that no screws and nuts have worked themselves loose.3) Check the condition of the conduit.4) Check that the elements, pilot light and drain tap are working correctly.5) Check all electrical connections.6) Check the slides and runners of the doors and lubricate if necessary.7) Check the well for water leaks.8) Check the condition of the element seal and drain gasket.9) It may be necessary to descale the well and the element every four months depending
on the hardness of the water in your area.
SAFETY:
1) Remember to always use extreme caution when working with any heavy duty Electrical appliance.
2) Switch the unit off when not in use to prevent burns.3) Do not touch the element at any time when the unit is on.4) Do not use as a general storage cabinet. This unit is meant to keep plates warm.5) Do not test the water temperature with your hands.6) Do not use any liquid other than water in the well.
